As a basis to our operation, we wash all our customers cars with water that we provide within each of our vans. Our methods are the most comprehensive and detailed methods provided by any mobile valeting company. No expense is spared to provide you with an unrivalled quality service.
Snowfoam Prewash
is the first step taken to thoroughly clean your car. It softens dirt and surrounds the larger particles drawing these away from the surface of the paintwork and wheels. This includes traffic film, grit, bugs and bird droppings. Pre-washing is a must to help keep the infliction of swirl marks, scratches and abrasions to an absolute minimum. The key is to remove as much dirt as you can before actually touching the car.
Hot Shampoo Microfibre Mitt Wash
You should only ever use a clean microfibre mitt on your car body never a sponge or wash brush. It is a very common mistake and causes a lot of damage to cars when washing. Car wash mitts have been developed to get around the problem of sponges trapping grit particles in the flat face. If you run your fingers through a wash mitt, you can see that it is deep pile and not flat-faced like the typical sponge. When the wash mitt is placed onto dirt particles on the car’s surface, the grit particles are absorbed into the mitt – safely away from paintwork so that there is less chance of scratching the paint.
Shampooed, Scrubbed, Extracted and Dried
when we clean your upholstery. Seats, floors, mats, headliner etc we scrub these areas by hand deeply penetrating all fabric stains before extracting the moisture from the fabric using a wet and dry vacuum. Leather interiors are also scrubbed, steamed and conditioned.
Steam Cleaning
Using a steam cleaner on your car’s carpet, leather trim, seats and upholstery doesn’t just leave you with a clean car interior, it also sanitizes your car, killing bacteria that can cause illness and odours.
Drying
After our wash process your car is dried using a plush microfibre towel.
Waxed and Polished
We wax and polish each car by hand to leave a clean, glossy protected coating.
Hydrophobic
is a term used to describe the ability of wax, polish or sealants to repel dirt, water and other contaminants.
Machine Cut Polishing/Paint Correcting
your car removes defects like swirl, etching, scratches and oxidation while enhancing gloss and preparing your car for the protection it needs. For all of these types of defects there are different types of polish and pads to use. The cutting ability of the polish will determine the amount of paint removed with each revolution of a buffer, as well as the resulting finish. A fine polish will create a deep, wet-looking gloss, whereas a coarse polish may cloud the paint’s surface. Each compound is designed for a specific purpose (repair or refine). When it comes to a polish, this isn’t as simple as picking up the bottle and applying it to your car. There are many variables that come in to play and it takes a skilled detailer to properly assess your cars condition and the best approach to take to revive your cars paintwork to its former glory.
Degreasers
work to clean various surfaces since they have the ability to break down water-insoluble substances like grease.
De-Ironizer
or fallout remover is a special product aimed at decontamination that has the chemical ability to help you to remove iron oxide particles from a surface without having to remove them mechanically. These particles are loosened up via a chemical process, that allows for them to be rinsed off safely.
Clay Bar
will remove embedded surface contamination that still remains after the wash process. Sometimes the contamination removed is not always visible on the paint to the naked eye. After using a clay bar on your paint you will be left with a surface that is as smooth as glass and properly prepped.
De-Tarred
Your car is always being bombarded with small specks of asphalt, tire rubber, grease and oils. Most of these are kicked up on the roads. Petroleum-based contaminants will affix to every exterior surface. Soap-and-water often cannot remove these ugly black spots.
